1 (3 lb) bag of Fuji OR Rome apples
1 box of two (2) pre-made pie crusts (softened)
1 cup of sugar
½ cup of flour
1 tsp of cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Peel, core, and slice equal amounts of both varieties of apple.

Mix dry ingredients and combine with the apple slices in the mixing bowl.
Place one pie crust into the bottom of the pie plate.
Pour the apple mixture into the pie crust.
Place the other pie crust on top of the pie. Wrap excess top crust under bottom crust edge, pressing edges together to seal; flute.
If a whole pie crust is used for the top, cut slits or shapes in several places in the top crust.
Bake at 375°F for 40 to 45 minutes or until apples are tender and crust is golden brown. Cover edge of crust with 2- to 3-inch wide strips of foil after first 15 to 20 minutes of baking to prevent excessive browning.
